Mailing Mistakes that Lose Donors and Donations:
Key Factors that Impact Fundraising Mailing Projects

Direct mail is not outdated, but your methods might be. To be successful, you need to take the time to analyze your data, review your design and sharpen your 'pitch'.  Learn from an expert in the business with years of experience working with  local and national nonprofits. Learn how the right mix of timing, planning, and packaging can make a difference-  Andrew will bring examples of direct mail campaigns; he'll share insight on why some work and some do not.

Organizations and development teams mailing to between 1,000 and 20,000 records at a time can learn:

  • how timing and using postage discounts properly can save significant money

  • how packaging, appearance, and the layout of information can effect response

  • how bad data (mail lists) can hurt a project

  • how good data can improve donation-amounts without increasing project costs
